WHAT IS PAINT PROTECTION FILM?

Paint Protection Film (also known as ‘PPF’ and ‘Clear Bra’) is a clear polyurethane film that is applied to a vehicle to create an invisible layer of armour that protects the paintwork from scratches, scuffs, dents, or swirls caused by road debris, stones, bird droppings, and other environmental elements.

The latest range of films from Xpel and 3M incorporate elastomeric polymer technology that allows the film to heal itself from scratches or swirl marks in a matter of minutes! The films are 100% safely removable on factory paint, and provides all of the protection you need with none of the peeling, cracking, yellowing, and blistering that can happen with other less-advanced films on the market. As professional detailers, what differentiates our installations from others, is the attention to detail that we put into the planning, surface preparation, and the install. Although our approach is more time consuming, we believe it is worth the time investment as it creates the highest quality installation possible for our clients.

All our films are computer cut in-house from a database of precision templates specific to your vehicle. This ensures that the film is a perfect and aligned fit. It also eliminates the need to cut on the vehicle. All our work is supported by a manufacturers warranty which gives you and your vehicle guaranteed protection.

Many installers are uneducated in proper car care and use aggressive techniques to clean a car prior to installation. In contrast, we never rush the prep process as we see this as a key stage in the process. We use proven safe wash techniques and pH Neutral products, clay barring, and polishing the paintwork to ensure a pristine surface prior to the install. We also endeavour wrap and tuck every edge where possible and look for solutions that avoid a visible film line that would attract dirt and wax over the life of the film. We do this by carefully removing badges, headlights, and other fixtures whenever necessary.

We are Xpel factory trained and authorised installers. Although we stock and are qualified to install other brands of film (3M, Suntek), we primarily use the Xpel range of films as we believe they are currently the best available. Xtreme

This paint protection film is essentially the same as the Ultimate film but it is a thinner film with no texture to it. It is almost invisible to the eye so compliments the aesthetics of the vehicle. xtreme comes with a 7-year guarantee against cracks, scratches and yellowing. This is the preferred choice for cherished or prestige vehicles where aesthetics take priority over durability.

Stealth

The stealth film is incredible. If you want a cost effective way to completely change the image of your vehicle and give it a more aggressive look then this is the product for you. This stealth paint protection film has a matte finish to it, so your whole vehicle is transformed with an all over matte finish – but it’s also protected and backed by Xpel’s 10-year guarantee.

Protection Kit Options

We offer three kinds of protection kit: PARTIAL FRONT, FULL FRONT, and FULL WRAP. The coverage and costs of each kit are listed below. As the graphic shows, there are also many other areas that can be protected. We are happy to customise any install to suit your exact requirements - just ask.

PARTIAL

This kit protects the vulnerable high impact areas at the front of the vehicle and comprises: full bumper area, part bonnet, wing ends, mirrors, and headlights.

FULL FRONT

This is our most popular kit as it offers complete peace of mind. It fully covers and protects all panels at the front of the vehicle: full front bumper, full bonnet, full wings, mirrors, headlights, A-pillars.

FULL WRAP

As its name suggests, this install involves covering the complete vehicle. This can be in paint protection film to give complete coverage so that your original paintwork is thoroughly protected, or with STEALTH to transform (and protect) your vehicles appearance.
