Gtechniq incorporates Smart Surface Science into every product it produces. By harnessing the performance of nano scale composite materials and testing them to extremes, Smart Surface Science offers a guarantee that their coatings work harder, smarter and more easily than anything else available.
Gtechniq coatings offer exceptional durability, gloss, chemical resistance, increased scratch resistance and protection. All coatings are guaranteed for between 5-9 years depending on which is selected. Once cured, solvents can be used to remove contaminants like tar deposits without risk of removing the coating, something that traditional wax or polymer coatings (like Supaguard or Autoglym) would be instantly removed by.

Waxes are a natural product, providing a sacrificial layer of protection, and therefore need regular top ups (recommended at least every 6 months) to remain effective. 1K-Nano: Proven protection. Guaranteed.
KochChemie’s 1K-Nano sits in between Swissvax waxes and Gtechniq coatings for protection and price point. With 1K-Nano KochChemie have been successful in developing a nano technology coating that features an extremely high gloss and smoothness level, that bonds with the paint structure for a long period of time (1-2 year+ protection is achievable if properly maintained).
Conventional waxes and polishes don’t form a bond with the paint surface so are removed again quickly through regular washing the vehicle and environmental conditions. 1K-Nano paint sealant bonds semi-permanently with the bodywork. It is extremely resistant to chemicals, ultraviolet radiation and mechanical abrasion. Water simply beads off, dirt is easier to remove, and the paint is protected by the sealing.
